Hoarding

We live in the age of the epidemic, and the sudden increase in stress has left me feeling overwhelmed.

I have noticed that greed can be seen even in the seemingly trivial act of grocery shopping. As the need for food becomes more pressing, people are shown to desire more and more from the shelves. Being in this environment causes me to feel like I must act the same way, even when I might not want to. As I look at the shelves,

I cannot help but grab as many items as possible, even though I know it is driven by impatience and greed. The image of a hand grasping a grocery bag reflects the pressure I feel to indulge in this excess, even in a time of crisis.
