Rebirth

Other people in my life seemed to understand that the challenges and environment presented by the pandemic could not be altered.

In accepting this, they were able to let go of the hardships that came with isolation, instead embracing their dreams and choosing to move forward with their lives. In contrast, I felt like I was still living in a box, trying desperately to find an escape. In this piece, the box reflects the claustrophobia I felt during the pandemic, while the petals represent the possible path out.
