Discarded

Even after such a long period of isolation, I feel like I am still stuck in the beginning of 2020. Time seems to fly by, leaving traces behind as it slips through my fingers, my words, and my eyes. It wasn’t until I was forced to stop and reflect during my periods of isolation that I realized how much time had passed me by.

I had ceased to move forward, feeling lost, empty, and forgotten by time, represented through the use of a discarded cardboard box. It feels like the old days were just yesterday, but the reality is that two years have already passed.
