During the isolation and quarantine period, my emotional state was constantly shifting and repeating. I longed for freedom and the opportunity to escape the confinement of my home, where I was stuck with my parents and had no privacy or moments to myself.
Home, somehow, became a prison, and I experienced a range of negative emotions like quarrels, frustration, and dissatisfaction. Both the mirror and background pattern of this piece represents this sense of isolation in addition to reflecting the constant repetition of my different emotional experiences and states during this difficult time.
